A range of on site student accommodation options are available to conference delegates –
In the newly completed Graduate House, each room has a double bed, built-in cabinetry, microwave, mini fridge and ceiling fan. Some rooms will also have a second bed, a king single, for those who may wish to share their accommodation.
There are also a limited number of accessible rooms with additional features including fully accessible ensuite.
Graduate House has two common areas – the Rooftop Lounge and the Figtree Lounge. Each has a full kitchen and casual lounge and dining spaces. Outdoor living comprises the Rooftop Terrace with a bbq area, lounges and tables and the Figtree Terrace which wraps around a protected figtree and landscaped garden.
When booking your on site accommodation with Hotelspace (below), note that the Graduate House rooms are listed as type “Modern” “With Ensuite”.
Main College Building
The main college building offers older style single or shared rooms (twin). Most bedrooms look out onto the tranquil College quadrangle, the gardens, across the University of Sydney grounds or the city skyline. Rooms are generous in size and have a single bed, wardrobe, desk, desk chair, desk lamp and a ceiling fan. Each room is within easy access to bathrooms located along each corridor.
When booking your on site accommodation with Hotelspace (below), note that rooms in the Main College are listed as type “Vintage” “Shared” (meaning shared bathroom).
Off Site Accommodation
Off site accommodation is available at the Rydges Hotel, immediately opposite the venue on Missenden Rd. Click here for further information regarding Rydges Camperdown facilities.
There are also a raft of other off site accommodation options in the general area which you can find using www.wotif.com or other similar online accommodation services.
Booking and Pricing for On Site Accommodation
On site accommodation is booked and managed directly by the Hotelspace organisation, on behalf of Sancta Sophia College.
Special rates, which include your room and breakfast, have been negotiated for the conference as follows –
- Main College Building (Vintage) :
- $60 per person per night for a Single Room, Shared Bathroom
- $90 per room per night for a Twin/Double Room, Shared Bathroom
- Graduate House Building (Modern) :
- $80 per person per night for a Single Room, Ensuite
- $110 per room per night for a Twin/Double Room, Ensuite
